What is Tillys trading symbol and how can I become a shareholder?

Tillys Class A common stock is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “TLYS”. Tillys Class B common stock is not publicly traded and is only owned by our founders. You may purchase shares of Tilly’s Class A common stock through a licensed stock broker.

What is the difference between Tillys Class A common stock and Class B common stock?

Tillys Class A common stock and Class B common stock have similar rights, except with respect to voting. Class A common stock is entitled to one vote per share, but Class B common stock is entitled to 10 votes per share on all matters voted upon by shareholders. Further, Class B common stock may only be owned by our founders. Please refer to our Certificate of Incorporation for a detailed discussion of the rights associated with our common stock.

When does Tillys fiscal year end?

Tillys operates on a retail fiscal calendar, which results in a 52- or 53-week fiscal year ending on the Saturday closest to January 31st. The 2023 fiscal year is a 53-week year which ends on February 3, 2024.  The 2024 fiscal year is a 52-week year which ends on February 1, 2025.

Tillys annual stock holder meeting is generally held in early June. The “event calendar” portion of our website will show the specific day of the annual meeting each year.
